Without a doubt, packing is stressful and time consuming part of a move. Many individuals don’t have the time, right equipment and supplies to protect items from scratches or dents nor inclination to do it.
With GOLDEN TIGER AG LLC, packing and unpacking is already included in your rate!
Although, if you have time to prepare in advance, we recommend you start packing your belongings yourself, to save money, as most of the time, packing may add many additional hours to your move.
We can supply boxes, dish packs, wardrobe boxes, packing paper, tape, cushioning materials for fragile items, bubble wrap etc. At your request, we can also pack items like plates, glasses, silverware, mirrors, paintings and more. All boxes will be labeled so at destination you will know what goes where.
Packing/Unpacking services can be provided as a separate service as well (when transportation is not needed), and charged hourly. You can check our competitive rates for packing services and packing materials on our pricing page.

A local move can be anything between moving a studio across the street, to a massive executive house with a distance move of 50 miles or less, from origin to destination.
Rates for local moves are hourly based rates. What’s included: Loading, Unloading, Packing & Unpacking, Packing Materials & Tools, TV Mounting and Dismounting, Disassembly & Reassembly of furniture, Tax & Basic Insurance, Appliances, Stairs, Narrow Hallways, Long Carry.
What is Double Drive Time?
Double Drive Time law, passed by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), requires California based moving companies to double the amount of time it takes to get from the origin point to destination point at the agreed upon hourly rate.
Appliances – included in hourly rates too. We can help our customers moving their washing machines, refrigerators, deep freezers, air conditioners, grandfather clocks, record players and tv sets. We reserve the right to inspect appliances or articles to determine whether they are in good working condition before accepting them for shipment.
Important: Golden Tiger AG assumes NO liability for re-adjustments, resynchronization or refocusing of such articles upon delivery.

A distance move is based on weight plus distance, typically 50 miles and more, from origin to destination via any public highway route. Movers generally call this a flat rate move. A shipper will receive a flat rate for this type of move, which typically includes services like Loading, Transportation, Fuel, Unloading, Packing & Unpacking, Packing Materials & Tools, Disassembly & Reassembly,of furniture, TV Mounting Tax & Basic Insurance, Appliances, Stairs, Narrow Hallways and Long Carry. In this case, counting hours is no longer necessary.
In order to issue an accurate flat rate or an estimate, a mover calculates the approximate weight of the proposed cargo and multiplies it to the distance.
Additionally, for our customer’s convenience, if something unplanned arises in connection with the move, our truck can be held by the customer for a period of one hour for free!

At the request of the customer, a shipment may be accorded storage. For this service, we charge an additional one-time warehouse handling fee of $50/mover, plus valuation while in storage, if any declared by customer.
